Excel Parking Services have successfully won a new contract at the Pride Park and Ride car park in Derby. With over 1100 car parking spaces this is a fantastic result for Excel as they continue to increase their ever growing portfolio with yet another major contract.

The car park is owned by Derby Council and they have chosen Excel to undertake the management and operation of the car park on a three year contract.

The Pride Park and Ride car park is located in the east of the city and is adjacent to the Pride Park stadium which is home to Derby County Football Club.

Motorists have the ability to visit Derby city centre without having to park there and incur the traffic and searching for a parking space.

For just £2.20, motorists are able to park at the Pride Park car park and travel by a dedicated bus service, which arrives at the park every 10 to 15 minutes from 7am to 7pm, straight into the city centre. The price also includes the return journey.

Excel's Commercial Director Alun Cockcroft is extremely pleased with the new contract,

Excel Parking Services will began managing the car park in July.
